You don't need to know exactly what kind of support you need before getting in touch.

Maybe your teenager has been struggling emotionally.

Maybe school attendance is slowly declining.

Maybe your child has stopped attending altogether.

Maybe your young person is neurodivergent and overwhelmed.

Maybe they are 19, unsure what comes next and feeling stuck.

Or maybe you know something isn't quite right but are not sure how to describe it yet.

That's okay.

The first step is simply telling me a little about what has been happening.

What happens next?

1. You send an enquiry

Tell me a little about what is happening and what kind of support you think may be helpful.

It is completely okay if you are not sure.

2. We work out whether Unstuck Youth is the right fit

I will discuss your support needs with you and explain what Unstuck Youth may be able to offer.

If another service would be more appropriate, I will be transparent about that.

3. We decide where to start

If we agree that Unstuck Youth is a good fit, we can organise the next step and begin developing support around the young person's individual needs.

For young people

You are allowed to be part of this process.

Support should not feel like something that is simply being done to you.

Your views, goals and experiences matter.

You also do not need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to talk about.

Working that out can be part of the process.

For parents and carers

You do not need to have solved the problem before asking for help.

You also do not need the perfect explanation for what is happening.

If your child or young person seems stuck, we can begin by trying to understand why.

Fees

Sessions are $130 for 60 minutes.

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a $40 cancellation fee.

Self-managed NDIS participants are welcome where the service is appropriate to the participant's plan and goals.
